Manage the Windows, Active directory, file and print servers on a day to day basis and troubleshoot any issues with the servers
Monitor Microsoft Exchange 2003 servers and troubleshoot any exchange server related issues
Work with multiple support groups, global teams and other relevant service providers to resolve any issues with the infrastructure
Administer the Symantec Endpoint Protection service and troubleshoot any issues
Monitor the performance and utilization of the servers
Assist the desktop team in troubleshooting
Available to support on weekends and after hours on rotation for resolving incidents and maintenance on servers.
Responsible for backup and restore of the servers on request / when needed
Assist in Disaster Recovery exercise
Responsible for Backup and restore of Microsoft SQL servers and perform basic troubleshooting
Monitor the Netapp SAN infrastructure, disk utilization on SAN, backup and restore on SAN.
Update the status of incidents on the ticketing system
Raise change requests for approval and implement them
Provide regular updates to the management team on day to day issues
Assist any upgrade projects for the client working with the various teams as required.
